Everything as code

Everything we build ships as code, in repositories you own from day one, written so an ordinary system administrator can read it and operate it in plain English.

Why code, not consoles

When something breaks at 2am, the fix is a readable change in a repo your people already know, not a ticket into a black box.

Everything as codeYour monitoring estate ships like software. Repositories hold the collection and routing config, alert rules, dashboards, the full infrastructure, and the runbooks as plain files. A push runs validation and tests, deploys to a dev environment, waits for review and approval, and deploys to production. Alerts from the environment reach a coding agent, Claude Code, Copilot, or your own, which reads the files and opens pull requests back into the repository. Your team asks in plain English, and an ordinary sysadmin can operate it.YOUR REPOSITORIESCollection + routing configAlert rules + thresholdsDashboardsThe full infrastructureRunbooks + playbooksIf it runs, it is a plain file in herePUSHYOUR PIPELINEVALIDATE + TESTDEPLOY TO DEVREVIEW + APPROVEDEPLOY TO PRODUCTIONDEPLOYYOUR ENVIRONMENTCOLLECTION LAYERTIME-SERIES STOREALERT CHECKSDASHBOARDSTHE LAKE, FULL FIDELITY, YOURSALERTCODING AGENTClaude Code, Copilot, or your ownIt reads the files, and it writes themOPENS A PULL REQUESTREADS THE CODEASK IN PLAIN ENGLISHYOUR TEAMAsk what is running and why, then change it the same wayAn ordinary sysadmin can operate it
Everything as code. The estate ships like software, the coding agent files its changes as pull requests through the same reviewed pipeline, and the team reads and changes the estate in plain English.

Pipelines, configurations, infrastructure, disaster recovery. All of it versioned and reviewed. When a new source needs onboarding, we add it to a pattern that already exists. And if the day ever comes to hand the estate to another partner, or bring it fully in house, the handoff is easy by design, because nothing lives only in our heads.

The design and the build are expert work. That is what you hire us for. Everything that work produces is yours. We make ourselves as replaceable as we make your vendors.

Operate, then graduate

We build it, we operate it, and then we teach your own administrators to run it, and the retainer stays because you want it, not because you need it.

The handoff is the point. Your administrators learn how the configuration is written, how to change it by describing what they want to a coding agent, and how the pipeline tests and validates every change before it ships. Not how to become engineers.

After that, a new rule, a new destination or a new collection is a small standard edit, and once the playbooks are written the triage largely runs itself. No administrator has to become an engineer first. That is the gap AI closed, and it is why a partner you can replace is one you keep by choice.

Asked about the code rule

What exactly lands in our repositories?

Pipelines, configurations, infrastructure, disaster recovery, the alert rules, the dashboards, and the runbooks beside them. All of it versioned, reviewed, and written so an ordinary system administrator can read it and operate it. Nothing lives only in our heads, by design.

Do our administrators have to become engineers?

No. We teach them how the configuration is written, how to change it by describing the change to a coding agent, and how the pipeline tests and validates every change before it ships. A new rule or a new destination becomes a small standard edit, not an engineering project.

What happens if we leave Logmetry?

The handoff is easy by design. The estate is code in your repositories, readable and documented, so handing it to another partner or bringing it fully in house is a decision, not a project. We make ourselves as replaceable as we make your vendors, and that is why clients stay.

Why does everything-as-code matter for AI?

Because an estate held as code is readable as a whole, by a person or by an agent. Console configuration cannot be read that way. Holding the estate as files is the thing that makes the ask, edit, history, and ticket workflows possible at all.

Start with the review

You share your diagrams, we review them with you, and you leave with your version of the Logmetry Blueprint drawn on your stack. No system access, no obligation.
